  • The journal welcomes authentic research articles that contain original and non-adapted academic content.
  • The journal publishes original and high-quality works; it does not publish compiled or translated articles.
  • The journal publishes only articles which have not been published elsewhere or at the same time presented for review in Iranian and non-Iranian publications.
  • The copyright of the article, once it is accepted by the journal, is reserved for the journal and the authors of the article are not allowed to print it elsewhere.
  • Publishing the submitted article does not necessarily imply that the journal editors and authorities agree with the authors and their opinions. The journal and its authorities disclaim any such responsibility.
  • The journal is free to accept, reject, revise, or edit the articles received.
  • The journal follows "Double blind peer review" process for reviewing the submitted articles. In this process, the reviewing of the article is submitted to two reviewers who are experts in the field yet anonymous to the author(s). Similarly, the author(s) will remain anonymous to the reviewers.
  • Articles can only be received through the website of the journal via https://thr.araku.ac.ir.
  • The articles submitted to the journal must include the following:

(Title, authors' names, abstract, keywords, main text, conclusion, appendices (if any), and list of references)

The abstract should be at least 150 and at most 250 words long.

The abstract includes the main research problem, questions, hypotheses, research method and findings.

The keywords should be at least 3 and at most 5 words.

The introduction should include a statement of the topic, problem(s) addressed, questions, hypotheses, method, theoretical framework (if needed), definition of terms, research background and innovativeness.

The body includes the discussion, testing of the hypotheses, and appropriate analysis.

The author/authors are requested to send their articles along with the following:

Education, academic rank, department name, faculty name, university name, and the city of the author/authors in Persian and English;

Mentioning the corresponding author in case there are multiple authors;

Postal address, postal code, mobile phone numbers, home phone number, workplace phone number, and telephone number of the corresponding author;

- The initial acceptance of the article is subject to compliance with what is noted in the "Guidelines for Compilation and Conditions of Acceptance and Publication of the Article". The final approval, acceptance, and publication of the article is subject to approval by the reviewers of the article and the editorial board of the journal. In any case, the result will be reported to the author.

Manuscript guidelines

  • The article should be at least 15 and at most 25 A4 pages and should not exceed an overall of 7000 words.
  • Articles should include introduction, main issues addressed, conclusion and references.
  • Foreign equivalents of foreign proper names, terms and words must be presented in form of footnotes.
  • The article should be written in Microsoft Office Word 2013 in 13-point B Nazanin font. The footnote should be in 11-point B Nazanin.
  • (English phrases should be in Times New Roman font with the size as the Persian text for the body and two sizes smaller if in the footnotes).
  • In addition to the word file, a PDF file must also be sent.
  • The line spacing is 1.
  • In-text citations must include the sur name of the author, year of publication, volume number and page(s) of the source in parentheses, e.g., (Sadough, 1996, 1/23). If several sources from the same author published in the same year are used, the name of each source should be given after the author's name; otherwise, mentioning the year of publication suffices. For internet references, (last name, exact date, website address) should be mentioned.
  • Explanatory notes should be presented in footnotes in fonts two sizes smaller than the font of the main text. The citations in the notes must be presented in the same way as the text and the detailed description of the source must appear in the references list. If a dictionary or an encyclopedia is used which bears the name of an editor, his/her name and the page number must appear within the parentheses.

References: the reference list appears at the end of the article, with Persian and Arabic sources (including books and articles) preceding English ones. The list must be arranged alphabetically based on the author's last name as follows:

Book: (author's) last name, (author's) first name, book title (in italics), translator's or editor's name and surname, place of publication, publisher's name, edition (not required if the first edition), the year of publication.

Article: (author's) last name, (author's) first name, "title of the article" (in quotation marks), journal title (in italics), year of publication, volume and issue number, numbers of the first and last pages of the article.

Internet sources: (author's) last name, (author's) first name, "title" (in quotation marks), (or title of the electronic journal, year of publication, volume number), name and address of the website.

All the verses of the Qur'an must contain full diacritic and be enclosed in quotation marks. The details of the verses (Surah name and verse number) must be inserted in parentheses immediately after their mention, e.g., (Al-Baqarah: 185). Surahs that have الف and لام must appear in the references in their original form in the Holy Book.

If the author's name is repeated in the reference list, use an M-dash instead of repeating the author's name.

Hadiths must also contain full diacritic and be mentioned inside quotation marks.

The manuscripts must be written according to the standardized Persian orthography by the Persian Language and Literature Academy.

The articles will be arranged in alphabetical order (of the titles) in the journal.

Note: Each article must have an English abstract.
