The semantics of the divine attributes is very important in religious discussiions. Will is one of the divine attributes that is mentioned quite a few times in the book and tradition. There is a difference of opinion in the interpretation of the will and how it is attributed to God and its placement among the inherent or present attributes of God. In this research, this relationship is measured by explaining the meaning of the will of the Almighty from the point of view of traditions and by examining Allameh Hali's point of view. Referring to the content of hadiths, it is shown that the divine will is one of the characteristics of God's action. From the speech of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), it follows that if the will is among the attributes of the essence, it will require the occurrence of a sublime essence because the will is an event, and from its occurrence, the occurrence of the necessary essence ensues, whereas the essence is the old right. On the other hand, if we consider will as an attribute of nature, the step of Murad (universe) becomes necessary, because Murad is not separate from will; therefore, will is an attribute of a verb, not an essence. In addition, by examining Allameh Hali's statements about the meaning of the divine will, it is clear that he considers will as the cause of the creation of beings. Allameh Hali equates will with Da'i in many phrases, which means that science is considered expedient. It seems that he has returned from this point of view and considered Da'i to mean the origin of will; therefore, by examining the works of Allameh Hali, his final view can be considered in harmony with the hadiths.
