The Shi'a Imami (Twelver Shi'ism) considers the Imams (A) and their leaders to possess supernatural and unique qualities, including infallibility and superhuman attributes. These beliefs are fundamental to the formation of the Twelver Shi'a sect. However, such beliefs have been subject to criticism, especially concerning the concepts of Mahdism and the origins of Twelver Shi'ism. These critiques often stem from a deductive reasoning that presumes any miraculous event is inherently dubious. This research aims to refute these criticisms through an inductive approach, providing a systematic compilation of well-documented miraculous occurrences attributed to the Imams. By examining historical texts, both Shi'a and non-Shi'a, the study seeks to demonstrate the plausibility of these supernatural attributes. The extraordinary concentration of miracles attributed to these twelve successive Imams challenges the conventional historical understanding of human capabilities. Moreover, the widespread and consistent reports of near-death experiences involving encounters with the Imams further corroborate these miraculous claims. The abundance of such extraordinary occurrences within this specific lineage poses a significant challenge to the notion that Shi'a beliefs about the Imams are the result of gradual theological development or are inherently irrational. Consequently, what Orientalists have presented as a critique of Shi'ism, when examined through an inductive-statistical lens, transforms into a compelling argument in its favor."
